CSS Stylesheet color problem Empty CSS Stylesheet color problem

Our board is using phpbb3 and is pretty basic. A couple of weeks ago, a member made us a custom graphic for our banner and I changed the colors of the board to go with it. It had previously been blue and I changed them to various shades of green. For some reason, the top half of the banner and the top quarter of the subcategory boxes remained blue and no amount of waiting (yes we did wait 24 hours between changes) and retrying will remove the blue.

Also, we installed a new background to go with the graphic. In the past, a newly installed background would appear patchwork, only to smooth out a day or so later. This time it didn't but remains patchwork.

Any ideas on how to resolve this? My board: http://funhsps.niceboard.org/index.htm

Change these colors to blend/match the bottom
section of your tables with the images:
@ ACP/Display/Pictures and Colors/Table Header
  • Category Header background color
  • Category background color

Also:
It doesn't have to be a Css edit for the images.
You can add/edit them on your Admin panel...
@ ACP/Display/Pics Mangement/Advanced Mode
  • Header background image
  • Table's background image

Try these background images:
Use this color to match table bottom: #1F7A3F
(Category background color)

These are phpBB3 (prosilver) default pics & color

Category Header bg color: #0076B1
Category background color: #0076B1

*Header background image
*Table's background image
(in case you want to restore the default blue)

Thanks for your help; I'll give it a try. I am new to all of this so this is really helpful.

Alas the table header category does not show up in my admin panel. I do have both the Category Header bg color and Category background color set to green and except for the top portion, it is. So there is something I'm missing. confused confused

So... when you are at:
ACP/Display/Colors & scroll down...

You don't see this?
CSS Stylesheet color problem K2kcxk

My screen doesn't look quite the same; the selection seems to be a bit different. But another of our admins did do exactly as you suggested; tried all 3 ways with no results. We are still stuck with the blue.

I went and found exactly the table finally. I did the changes and still we are stuck with the blue at the top and green on the bottom of the header and subcategory headers. This is the same result my other admin had.

It appears you still need to change the default
Header & Table images to the images I posted above.

Example

This is how test tables look with color changes only

CSS Stylesheet color problem 1idflg_th

This is after adding the images
CSS Stylesheet color problem Veytud_th

If it's not working out...
You could try switching to a green skin like this:

New Revamped green
CSS Stylesheet color problem Preview

Then edit the banner image.
