Post content on homepage

I am thinking about doing something tricky on my homepage...
What I want to do is to make ONLY THE CONTENT of cirtain posts from the same topic appear as messages on the homepage, but in reversed order (newest on top)

As a second request I'd like to be able to edit these messages from the homepage itself, this option should only be able for admins.

Questions:

1. Is this possible?
   
2. Is this allowed?
   
3. Has something like this allready been requested before once?(just curious)

i have tested a few things and thought i could get something close like that.
but it seems that will not work.

you can always copy the content from a post and add it but thats about it.

Different idea:
Is it possible to edit ONLY CIRTAIN homepage contents by homepage themself, by adding a "new entry", "delete post" and an "edit post" button again ONLY for admins?

The idea is to make the homepage easier to maintain.

define homepage contents?

if it's in a home page message or something then no. if it's something else on the homepage then the answer is still now. any adjustments or edits to the home page have to be done in the admin panel..

i am really not sure what you are asking either? but i am almost certain that the answer would be no you can not do it.
