Since you released the attachment feature, I am wondering what Join File does in forum permissions.

Hello,

Where exactly are you seeing the "Join file" text?

When I edit the permissions for a forum, I see "Join File". I was also confused on "Open a Topic", but I assume that controls who can read them.

I don't want those permissions. I want to know what "Join File" means when I change the permissions of a forum.

General -> Forum -> Categories and forums

I would assume that would be who has permission to merge files, but I personally am not 100% sure.

If it allows you to merge files, where can I do this?

I wouldn't have a clue myself.

Like I said, I'm not sure, and haven't actually played with the feature yet myself.

I am asking because it was not explained well in that thread. It provides a picture, a identifies the new permissions, but it does not explain what "Join File" is.
