coding problem

i tryed to make something for the nintendo wii/ds friend codes like this picture here so i did heres what my looks like there was a submit button but forget about it in the picture anyway want i added the code and then hit submit and then go back to check to see if it saved the code it don't. is there anyway to fix this? i throught it be easy then making a thread and alot of posts of friend codes. heres the html code i made using other html codes from w3schools.com

Have you tried going to admin panel > users and groups > users > profiles? There you can make fields that people can add friend codes into upon registration and at any other time. These will stay next to the persons name on the forum just like their age and country etc. If this is what you are wanting then I believe that this would be a much easier way...

o sorry about that mosh have forget to say that. that were i added it and it don't work i used contact field and used phone number because of it being numbers but it wasn't even saving them that why so i chance it to web address tryed that too heres the link of my forum to the contact page of my profile http://everythinginonesite.unlimitedforum.com/profile.forum?mode=viewprofile&page_profil=contact&u=1 but like i said i forget to added the submit button to this one. i think all i need is a save button and it should work. but not sure how to make one i will search and see if i find anything about a save button.

You need to put them as a normal field. Don't do contact or it puts it with an Icon type thing.
