The forums have changed, is there a post on this?

I went online today and I got confused!! The forums have different things now, like if you goto profile it's divided into profile-preferences etc. I like the change. And now all my members seem to be bolded in colour. Is there a post about this or something, or can someone tell me what all changed, or was added? Very Happy

it's all part of the new update that has been in beta testing for ages but now it has had it's debut, some of the posts here has become obsolete

I came on here to mention the same thing and saw this thread.To be honest I am not keen on some of the changes,Its confused me.I just got used to how to add new forums and topics and now it isnt doing what I want.

I would like to add extra part as part of my main.I go into Managment as before,and the only things thats there to click is Add a link.I do this and save.but nothing is happening.?????

Did you fill in every form, if not goto misc > misc > and try and resync the forum so all the updates you did will come into action

ok im getting frustrated now....it wont let me delete a forum that iv made,but had been made wrong because i havent a clue now what im doing. It says it cant be deleted because it has topics which is silly because iv just made it and havent put any topics in....

Now i am stuck with 2 forums that show in the managment but not my actual forum that I cant delete.

I have tried deleting them by moving topics in folders what was in forums next to them as it said i cant delete because it has topics.But that dont work either grrrrr.I got two extra forums or folders i dont want and cant move to where i want or completely delete them,which i would prefer

This option is harder then the last and it wont do what im asking it too.

Sorry to sound such a moaner,but I got the forum looking how i want it and just simply by wanting an extra forum/topic,its become a mess

at the bottom of the form check the resync forum button and click save, if not I'll find a solution one way or another

ok...got rid of forum,but how do you delete a categorie.Keeps saying it has topics and cant be deleted

you have to delete all the forums or move the forum to the main category (it's usually called the title of your forum)

My Category is empty,its just what iv only just added. Oh well.

gezzzz Now where is the options to make your thread a sticky or an Announment now? *sigh* and I was getting used to where evrything was nicely.

All i can see when I type in thread or make a new topic is

Options
Calender
Add a Poll

Poll question
poll option
run for poll
multiple choice

No sticky or announcments button like before underneath. Confused

Ignore my last question..i worked it out. You hid that well Razz

Was in options and i had to click the little plus looking sign on the right to open it out.

I will get used to it,like I had to with the older version.

Ok, the role play sheets are just for show. They're not linked to any precis game. If you could please wait the tutorial will be posted and you should be able to understand then
