Awards System Help

So I wanted to add special icons for certain people on my site. I created one icon as a test bur every new user who signs up now somehow has this icon on their name. Is there a way to make it so only I can assign the icons? Is there also a way to remove the text and just have the icon show as well?

Yes in your advanced profile fields ware you create it.
be sure you have these setting on this way.

Necessarily filled ? (no)

Who can modify the profile field value (moderators)

Display this field for users that are at least (members)

no by haveing it set like this only staff or your self can add the awards if you wish to give a member one.. and as far as the other options there you can choose what you want.

Did all that and new people are still randomly showing with the icons?
