css code to make font text size smaller.

I just want to ask if anyone has the idea or can give me a css script that makes the font size smaller.I'm using phpbb3 and I want the free forum, support forum etc. on the bottom to look smaller since it cannot be remove and because we cannot also edit templates of phpbb3... thanks...

Can you post your css script.
there should be something in there for the footer to adjust.
then if not you'll have to wait for someone that's better with css then my self to give you the correct code..
