My forum won't display the text in black. The title has an option for colors so you can see this text with selecting the black.

But you can't see the subject text, the interior text for the message. And it wont show the text in the preview and post buttons. Please help.

I think it has to do with the fact that my forum uses white text because I have a black background.

well no of course black is not going to appear on black.
i need to see a screen shot of where your haveing the problem.
if it's black text in a post then it's not going to show unless you change the background color to something else or just dont use black text..

but everything else i need to see where it is and the best way to change it.

This is the best example as any:

Text input errors... Gallery_65857_189_51789

The bottom left hand corner has an example of what happens when I open up the moderation tools.

additionally... the link color applies to my moderators. so the mod's name will be in red but the link color will remain and underline the name. can I remove this?

here you go place this in your css sheet.
the text color is black and you will no see your mod tools, jump box menue and your fast reply box.

you can even add a image background in this code if you wanted to as well.
you would just add the direct link of the image in between the Prentice's ()

Code:
 input,textarea, select {
  color : #000000;
  font: normal 12px Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;
  border-color : #FFFFFF;
  background-image: url();
}

Thanks, that's really awesome.

What about the underline for the members? How do I change the color to reflect that of what I've set?

the underline... whaaa... lol
i am not sure i have to try a few things first.
obviously it's the same color as the blue i guess links.

i would check in you colors and what the color the links are.. but then if you change that all of the links will change.. so i am not sure how to change just the underline color

i am sure there is a way to get it by css.

That is exactly what I though. The links reflect the colors set in the color picker.

I'm sure it can be done with css but I need to know where the file is at. All we would have to do is add a border=0 line to each of the three categories for member, mod and admin.

Just need to find it...

and why does this forum have a flood control set for post edits? Mad

but it should be for new posts, not if I noticed I made an error and needed to fix it... I do have spelling errors from time to time and I like to fix them asap so I don't appear so stupid.

Admin panel>display>colors

scroll down to Background Colors.

for

Drop-down menu, form fields and header border color : select white #ffffff and hit save that should fix it. i noticed on the index board log in it's fine.. but on the log in page it's black on black.. so it should fix it where i said i tested on my forum and it worked.

but i notice you quick reply box is white.. is you subject board when creating NEW threads/post also white I hope?

well, you're first answer a couple of days ago was right on. however, the all of my form fields need to be white, not black.

additionally, I chose to have pics only in my headers & navigation, and I added a custom button for registration to deter bots, but it's still showing the text...
