Removing free forums bit Empty Removing free forums bit

Post by jack1 May 27th 2010, 6:00 pm

Hi,
Apologies if this has been done but I've created a forum called MorecambeTalk with a friend, basically a Morecambe FC fans forum. Now I've noticed that in the forum window/tab there is a piece of text saying 'Free forum : etc.'

My question: Is there any way to get rid of that piece of text without upgrading or anything?

Cheers

What would happen if you went against TOS? Would your forum still be hosted? How do you do it out of interest?

Hello,

Admin Panel => General => Forum promotion => Search engines from there you can remove the free forum tag?

Everyone, Jack1 is talking about the 'Free forum' tag in the forum title that shows up in the window's tab; he's not talking about the footer link. No, it's not against the Terms of Service to remove the Free Forum link from the window tab, but it is against the Terms of Service to remove it from the footer.
