Newbie site queries
Hi, my first post.
I'm trying to build up a website (not yet open), but need advice on a few points, please.
1. Instead of inputting an image on the homepage for each forum title next to the forum wording, how do I input a different background image behind each forum topic?
2. Which line in the Display admin page can I amend the colours of the post profile (ie. the colour of the left column around the member's avatar, when a post has been made)?
Thanks

Re: Newbie site queries
Hi
I'm meaning that, instead of having the forum topic thumbnails (in the example below) placed by the side of the Forum title (ie. 'INTRODUCTIONS')
http://www.englistory.co.uk
...Can they be instead placed in the CSS template or something, so that they can be placed behind the topic titles? The result hopefully being that, when scrolling down the homepage, to have nice relevant images appear in each subject forum title- behind the actual wording.

Re: Newbie site queries
The css below will get the desired affect though I do not know if you'll be able to set the backgrounds the way you wish. It can be done but I do not think with css alone or in the very least not the css I've given you. I'll keep watching this thread until we've solved your issue.
- Code:
td.row1 div{postion:relative;}
td.row1 div img{position:absolute; left:150px; z-index:1; display:inline;}
td.row1 .forumlink, td.row1 .forumdesc {position:relative; z-index:99;}

Re: Newbie site queries
I'm thinking the nth-child selector might work for creating personal backgrounds for each subject.

Re: Newbie site queries
Erm, where is the CSS stylesheet? I have restarted another Fourmotion site and clicked into my Invision' CSS' but got the error message saying that one isn't there?
