Creating Forums

While in the Administration panel I attach my forums to categories. Then I try to place a category and forum into a a forum. The problem I have is that I have the sub forum on the homepage as well so it would look like:

-category- locations

Kingdoms
Cities
Star City

Kingdoms and Cities are the main forums to the location category and are meant to be seen on the home page while Star City is a sub forum to Cities.

I want Star City to not be visible on my homepage and only be accessible when I click on Cities for I plan on placing more topics in Star City

I want to be able to place a chain like this

Cities - Star City - Harbor - Warehouses

and i want it so that none of those are visible on the previous one so then users can place topics in the warehouse. How would I go about doing that?
