chat open in a pop up window?

Is there any way to do this?

Well there is a couple ways to do it.

the first would be to just have the chat box activated, then have it not to be displayed. you have a link down near the who's online section that says chat box.. and when clicked it will open to a full page of the chat.

Now if you want it to be in a pop-out window.. i will need your forums address so i can put a code together for you to add..

along with one to be placed on a html page as well.. but rono he might have a better code that you may not need to even have a html page?

or like i said in the first way. that works fine too and you dont need any codes.

The one in the "who's online" box opens in a new window, what I want is to have it on a pop-out like when you get a new private message and the forum alerts you. Just a little window so the users can chat while browsing more comfortably...

or if it's just a case where you want the chat on every page that can be done as well. because the pop-out window will not stay up as soon as you click somewhere.. but haveing it one very page. then it;s there the whole time and mebers are still logged in.. so how ever you want to do it

So yeah discuss it with your admins then just post the link to the forum.

Yes but the pop-out window is still better because it doesn't have all the default browser buttons wich are annoying...

I think I have asked before and was told it could not be done.

Came back to say I installed the pop up and looks great!

I have a pop up chat box installed at my site. Also a tutorial on how to install it. It stays open while you browse page to page.
It's an easy install using a widget.
