Mediafire links are... weird?
For some reason, in my site, download links to mediafire send you to a page with some big ad. That's all. In other sites, the links seem to be working just fine... is it related to forumotion?
This is how my users are posting the links:

My users are being unable to.. umm.. download the archive due to this... Is there a way to disable such?

When you press the download link, a page will load that has a blue round circle that has a white triangle. Press that and the download page will load.

Mask the download link using http://bit.ly/ or http://tiny.cc/ and post it in your forum,Omegas7 wrote:My users are being unable to.. umm.. download the archive due to this... Is there a way to disable such?

Re: Mediafire links are... weird?
@Sig: I see that button, but after a fraction of second a huge ad appears and I can't click the button anymore.
@Marc: Thanks, though the problem would be telling all of my users to mask their download links (some have posted like 40 links already 0.o)...
Why exactly did forumotion put this by the way?

Re: Mediafire links are... weird?
Hmm... I should suggest being able to disable such....
But, then there is a small bug with this feature... the big arrow that should allow the user to go to the download page is overlapped by the huge square ad! :o
