How do I keep Text from going opaque?

Help! I made a thread a while ago now and it never got replied to... that's alright, I eventually figured it out on my own. NOW my problem is that I just can't find the right area to put in the code to make the one section I want opaque. Can someone PLEASE help?

I know the code I need to put in is (made bold):

background-color : #F7B9B9;opacity:0.5;

As you can see what I have now is all the sections I want to be opaque made opaque... the only trouble is that it's also making the TEXT opaque. It's not just because the font is white, either, because the bold red/blue ADMIN title is also semi-transparent.

Pretty much all I did was put that code I have above anywhere where it already said background-color : #F7B9B9;

Please help!

Still looking for help. My main issue is making the text not opaque.
