Website Click Counter

Hello,
i want to add a website click counter, i got the html code but idk where to put it cause i go to html page management add new html enter code and preview and i just get the code. if the rest of this info helps im using http://www.website-hit-counters.com
If you can help i would appreciate it.

If you want clicks counter for you forum, just add it in a widget or in the templates

widget did not work i tried before but ill try templet now

ACP - Display - Templates - General - :
you can add it in the Overall_Footer

I know this sounds a bit silly, but do we add it to the end, the middle, instead of the html code that's already there or what?

Sorry, I did look but still not sure where to put the code for the counter. I have found the simple footer and the code for that looks like this: <!-- BEGIN html_validation -->
