Facebook CONNECT Problem

Well, the button works well. People who registered via that button can log-in anytime. But, one thing I don't like with it is that old members can't use it since when they click it, they are prompt to make a new account. How can I synchronize the FB accounts of my old members to their forum accounts without making them to register anymore?

This shouldn't happen.

You should be able to go to Profile // Preferences and Connect your account to Facebook.

But now I have a problem. After I clicked the associated my account, it says my account just got linked. So I tried to log-out. After clicking the Facebook Connect log-in button, it didn't log-in. So, I wonder why it didn't work.

Now, after I linked it, I have remembered that the email that I use in Facebook is different with email I use in the forum. I changed it to the email I was using in Facebook, log-out and log-in again, but still it didn't work. How would I fix this?
