Group not showing on PM list

Hi there

Please can you help me, I am wondering why a group that has been created (with all appropriate permissions etc) does not show on the usergroup list for PM?

I have tried rearranging the groups and this hasnt helped - any ideas please?

Is the group an open group?

Sorry no its a closed group - and I have others that are closed groups that do show on the usergroup list.

The mod of the group is the same as for another closed group - which does show on the list!!

Well, it should show even if its a closed group to be honest.

Any other info you want to give. I will see in the admin panel, if there is any other setting that needs to be done.

Is there a maximum number of usergroups that can be shown?

my own list doesnt even show it?

I don't think so, when did you create the group?
Did you check the order of the groups?

I created two at the same time, one shows -the other doesnt - I even moved the group above the other one, but still it doesnt show?? just to add that the group that doesnt show has more members than the one that does!!

I believe I have 7 groups, and then friends show on PM list also.

Can you recreate one more group & check, if it appears?

I just created a test group - same mod, joined it and yes it shows on the list????

I am going to change the test group to the other group - seen as it shows - will let you know if it works........

mmmm yeah so far so good - a quirk??? very odd

I have deleted the other group...
