What would you do if someone donated you 1,000 dollars to spend on your forum. You could buy a lot but lets see if anyone has any interesting idea!

Well I worked it out.
Domains= 179$ For Lots Of Domains For 5 Years
Top Class Staff Pay= 300$
Advertising= 300$
My Own Personalized Theme= 100$
Make A Exspensive Online Shop Selling Forum Things= $100
Donation To Forumotion= 21$

So then I would keep earning!

Well, if they donated it to your forum ( donate link from footer ) , then you can't do much except what they offer you...

If someone sends the money to your paypal account, then you can do whatever you want with it, Wink

If someone sends me $1000 for free, then I'd use that money to make more money online. ( might only use a small fraction on my forum )

Yes but what if they said to spend it on forums, it would just very selfish to not use it for your forum if they asked for you to use it for your forum.

1000 dollars or 1000 credits? If dollars, I'd buy a domain name, no ads, and storage. If credits, storage only.

Well, I would use it all up to buy more space for attachments, maybe even enable the gallery. Whatever is leftover I'll use for myself! (jk)

well as for right now, I would spend $500 on getting and then keeping a domain for as long as that lasts me, $450 on advertising, and $50 as a donation to forumotion Smile

If my forum were to be extremely popular and active, I would instead save $700 for domains(if i didn't get a free one), use $250 to pay my staff members to reward their hard work, and then $50 as a donation to forumotion.

I would buy a custom made professional theme first and I would go from there. The reason is that I think forums which have great custom themes get people coming back to them more than forums with the generic theme Smile And I want people coming back to my forum lol!

I would donate all of the money to the homeless or people in need. Or to forumotion, or to another forum that actually needs it. I believe that instead of paying other people to do your work for you, you should do it yourself.

Personal Domain
Advertising
(I don't pay staff Its more of a privilege than a job)
Save some for later needs
Donations on other forums to give them a jump start
