HTML home page

Did you remember to click "save"? (Just a common mistake)

If not, when you say hompage, you mean the portal right? Go to portal configuration, select No on Show The Portal, save, then go to General>Headers and enter the URL of your HTML page there in the Add A Link section, then you can use the default portal icon if you want.

jst to ad a page as a home page
in da home page there wil b a lil intro abt da forum nd a link to da forum or mayb a rollver button..after clikin dat u can enter da forum or even da portal

Well, it's not entirely possible considering the URL of the HTML page you're making won't match the URL of your original homepage. Unless you're only advertising that HTML page URL and don't care about who finds the original URL to access your site.

If you do, then I suggest you replace the portal anyway, then recreate the portal as another HTML page.
