I might do this except w/o the enter button.
Re: Split: Creating a loading page before accesing your forum
I seem to be having troubles as well.
When I place the URL of the "homepage" sheet into my address bar, it brings up a screen showing the HTML, and no special "Enter Screen."
I copied the code you gave and followed the instructions. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

Re: Split: Creating a loading page before accesing your forum
In addition,
If you also want your Loading page be part of your forum.
You can add your own forum .ico - a small icon next to your forum URL- on the address bar.
Here's the code:
How to apply that code on your HTML area ?
- Jus simply copy , apply the image url and paste it after the code
or whatever you have in there.
This tutorial is copyrighted by myself. So if you have any questions, Jus post a reply.. (: .
I'm glad to help out...

Re: Split: Creating a loading page before accesing your forum
I'm having a problem too.
My first HTML page looks right. it has my forum logo, the welcome message below it, the Enter box and below that the forumotion link.
When I click on the Enter box I then get a blank page of the background colour with the forum logo at the top. Nothing else, no loading screen and no forum loading.
The only way that I can get back to my forum is by using the forumotion restore forum link (the one that you can use to get to your Admin CP
The only entries I have changed in the second HTML page are <img src="link to my forum logo"
and URL="link to my forum"
Any help would be appreciated.

Update to my earlier post.
I have the first page working and can now get to the forum by clicking the Enter button. (I dont see a loading page it just goes straight to the forum)
The strange thing is..I have not created the Loading page part of the HTML this time but have put a link to my forum in the Headerpage code.
Here is the code as I have entered it in my HTML page.
- Code:
<BODY BGCOLOR=#570606>
<center><img src="http://img198.imageshack.us/img198/4469/newmonlogo2.jpg"></center><br><br><br><br>
<center><strong><font color="yellow" face="Arial">Welcome to our forum </font></strong></center>
<center><br><br></center>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://nomadalliance.darkbb.com/Loading-page-h2.htm"><img alt=""
src="http://palettevilloise.be/Gif/button_enter.gif" width="164" height="120">
</p><div style="text-align: right;"><font style="color: White;" size="1">Powered by
<a href="http://www.forumotion.com" target="_blank">forumactif.com</a></font></div></BODY>
Can you see if I have made a mistake anywhere in the code?

When you actually make a loading page (read the tutorial to see how), just put html of that page on your href...

if you have made that page, then just check if you have set redirection properly (read the tutorial carefully)
