Solved Trouble with announcements and newsletters

Post by Sweetheart1 September 3rd 2010, 5:34 am

Hello,

I'm sorry if someone has discussed this already but i have looked and can't anything.

I cannot edit a newsletter or announcement with adding bold or text colour...the buttons are all there and not greyed out but they won't let me click them.

Also when i went to edit an old newsletter...it previewed then sent as the un-edited version...Is there an upgrade you are doing at the moment that is stopping this?

Thankyou in advance

Try Firefox... IE has many problems, atleast give Firefox a try and see if it works. Smile.

I don't want to use FF...i like IE...it never gives me issues anywhere....

Why am i only now having this issue with my admin panel??I've been with Forumotion for nearly 3 years and this is the first time i've had this problem..I'm grateful for your help..really i am but if it is the browser why would forumotion do something to disable IE in our admin panels?

I use the announcements all the time in my forum...sometimes i'm adding and removing them daily...never any problems until a few days ago Trouble with announcements and newsletters Mouais

Yes apparently it does work with FF...my co-manager tried it and she uses FF.

Ok i know IE sux...so a lot of people tell me...but theres still a lot of us who use it so why would the admin panel be changed so IE won't work in it??I think thats very unfair and not well thought out..not everyone prefers FF.It seems to me that forumotion are adveryising FF.

Thankyou for your help Sanket..much appreciated Smile

Sweetheart1, there is nothing unfair. IE is an outdated browser. Thats the bottomline.

Can i consider this solved?
