Limit the number of posts per day per user

I think it would good idea and very useful and commonly used option.

Why would any administrator want to stop his members from posting more and keeping the forum active?

But then i can't help all the users on this board?

Voted no, If the posts were limited many people would not be helped by other people like Saxaca.. And If so, it would increase the job of the Moderators and Global Moderators if their posts were not limited. May I know the reason why you suggest this idea?

I see the usefulness in this one, stopping/reducing spam? Doing this to special users, wouldn't help though. I'd rather use the flood control

For me i voted YES! The Admin can limit the post of members per day... because as my experience in forums many member just post with a non-sense and a waste of time to view and you see just a Emoticons or just a weeeeeeeeeeee!!

With the limit post per day members will reserve their post in the important matters only and not just emoticons or none sense post....And Spam can also limited.

And also we need it in our forum to limit the leechers (pirates) get all our posted dj's remix music in 1 day only because of no limit... so i voted YESSSSS

I voted no. Like another member said, forum staff want the members to post more. If you limit them to a certain number of post a day, they aren't going to stay long.

Every Forum created with a proposed:

If the forum created to have a Top Poster then the limit of post is not useful.

But if the forum is like our forum sharing and given music remix... the limit is very useful because lots of members are greedy just get what they want then after they get all the posted share remix in one day then quit or just be back when many share to be download again... to limit them is very useful to stay them in the forum because they can not get all download in one day because of the limit...

So its an option of the Forum maker to limit or not the post depend the propose of there forums.

If your an Admin, Vote YES!! because its very useful for you later. . .

But if your only a user and member... of course you vote NO... because that only your job. to post and post and post and be a Top Poster and be Known to all...

What is the point in this? If you didn't want a certain user to post, just ban them. Or if you want them to stop posting so much, send the a PM - but I don't see why you would.

this would come in handy if a user posts far too much and clogs up the forum bu you still want them to have a say in your forum.

This would be a good feature to reduce spam which can sometimes be a problem.

This option is already in place. Calculate how may times you want a user to post in 24 hours, you will find how much time between the posts and you set the flood control accordingly.
The poll must be expired, I cannot vote... useless to vote anyway.
