Email from GoDaddy.com concerning domain registration
I received an email from GoDaddy.com concerning my domain name registration.
I followed the link provided to the godaddy website. The contact info that is listed for me is incorrect. Most of it is right, but I need to alter the mailing address. I can't do this because I dont have the customer # or login name and password. I assume Forumotion has this info. What do I need to do to update the contact info?
Copy of email below:
Dear XXXX,
It's that time of year again. ICANN (the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) annually requires that all accredited registrars (like Go Daddy) ask their domain administrators/registrants to review domain name contact data and make any changes necessary to ensure accuracy. According to our records, you are the ADMINISTRATIVE CONTACT on the following domain names registered at GoDaddy.com as of September 1st, 2010:
MSGUNOWNERS.COM
To review/update your contact data:
1. You will need a copy of your Domain Information Key:
XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXXX
2. Go to https://www.godaddy.com/icann/domain_search.aspx?prog_id=GoDaddy&isc=BBCN10AF
3. Input your Domain Information Key and review your contact information.
If you find that your domain contact data is current and accurate, there's no need to take action. If, however, your domain contact information is inaccurate, you must correct it. (Under ICANN rules and the terms of your registration agreement, PROVIDING FALSE CONTACT INFORMATION CAN BE GROUNDS FOR DOMAIN NAME CANCELLATION.) To review the ICANN policy, visit: http://www.icann.org/en/whois/wdrp-registrant-faq.htm
If you have questions or believe you received this email in error, you can get help at http://www.godaddy.com/gethelp or give us a call 24/7 at (480) 505-8877.
Sincerely,
GoDaddy.com Domain Support

Re: Email from GoDaddy.com concerning domain registration
You wouldn't be able to do anything about this since Forumotion handles the domain names. You would need to contact Typlo about this issue and see what he can do. But since Typlo is away from the office till the 25th of this month this issue won't be fixed.
