Re: Change register default text
If your using a phpbb2 forum, you could search that part in the tempaltes.
im sure its a variable. Set it in a ID class, change in css to
display:none;
create in the templates a new text and link it or do whatever you want.
Its just a theory, not tested, cause I´m at school at the moment.

Re: Change register default text
Well Im using phpbb3.
I look up ID class which the text was in it. Is Content a in general used div class?
If so what would happen to other pages or divs that are using the same one?
I made a screenie of it.
After Darren1 post, I look up if Forum Terms of service could be changed but that was only possible on older phpb version >.<

Re: Change register default text
The only way i can see changeing this is in the template.
you can make the text how every you want useing bbcode first. then convert it to html and just replace the whole part with the html in the template.
but you will have to find it.. i dont have time to look right this min because i am off to class, but i am sure i can locate it for you .. In the mean time see if you can find it and if not just check back here.
to convert the bbcode to html just place the bbcode on your home page message then click save.. and it will automatically change it to html for you.. then just copy that and you can delete from the home page message after you have it copied
Oh wait you will have to add the link to the text too.
so in other words you just going to take it out in the template how forumotion has it and replace it with your code. Oh and that is if this can be changed/done ? i have never tried it but i am sure it can be.

There's a code for this
what template is it in?
Burukku, switching to punBB would be eaisest, we have a tutorial to keep your phpbb3 theme, but switch to punBB.

Btw can you switch to phpbb2, since its the older version of phpbb3?

Hello, you can switch to any version, but don't try, i don't think you can edit it from the templates, there is no code for it (:
