Hi,

in both PunBB & PHPBB2 this is possible.
In PunBB:
Admin panel >> General > templates / General > Index_body.
Locate this code, should be right infront of you in the first few lines:

Code:

<p>{LOGGED_AS}. {LAST_VISIT_DATE}</p>

Remove it, and remove the line (Hit backspace 2 times) & Save & publish it.

It should be gone then
