groups

Hi i have looked for the answer to this question before posting but cannot find it

I am the founder of a forum for banger racing and would like to put the members into groups ie. formular 3 drivers, formular 2, junior mini, hotrod etc.

it says that i have to have a group moderator, does that mean that i have to make one of those members a moderator?
I have made the site for the people who run the track to moderate and dont want anyone else to be a moderator of the forum.

Is it possible to create these groups and put the members into them without making any of the a moderator? If yes please can you explain how.

Why don't you try making yourself the moderator?
