"No Post Mode Specified" Empty "No Post Mode Specified"

Post by Gimpy Cat Mon 1 Nov 2010 - 9:34

Hi,

I have a couple of members who keep encountering the "No post mode specified" message when they attempt to reply to topics. It makes no difference if they simply reply in the box beneath the current message or use the "post reply" button they get the same result the minute they hit the 'send' button. Their posts vanish.

Usually if they reply a second time it will go through and post their message but sometimes it eats their reply multiple times.

Can anyone help me with this and how to stop it happening?

Thanks Very Happy

Hi,

I know what your talking about, it's happened along time ago for me.

Is this for everyone on your forum, or specific people?

If specific, ask them to clear the cache & cookies of their browser, and what browser their using.

Its only random members, one uses IE one uses Firefox and both have cleared their history, cache and cookies. One is a moderator and its really annoying she has to copy ever post she makes so she can paste and repost 2 or 4 times until it works. Any other ideas? Thanks Very Happy
