Special rights list
Oks, so I promoted a forum member to the rank of moderator by changing their rank title to moderator and by adding them into the moderator group and they've successfully acquired moderator privileges. However, they're not showing up in the list of Special users.
I then tried doing exactly the same thing on another forumotion forum which is set up almost exactly the same and it automaticly added the user to the Special users list...
I was wondering if anyone has any idea why this is happening on one forum but not the other, and if it will affect the user's ability to moderate in any way?

Where do you find the special users list?

Re: Special rights list
You go to Administration Panel, Users and Groups on the top bar, then to the Users sidebar and click on special users...

Ask the user if he is able to moderate?

Re: Special rights list
I tested the moderation skills using a test account promoted in the same way, and as far as I could see, I was able to moderate. However, the account did not show up in the special users list.

Users & groups>Search users
Click on that username
Permissions tab
Check if he is checked for Is Moderator corresponding to the various forums?

Re: Special rights list
Yep, he's checked for all the forums which he's supposed to be moderator for...
I also got him to try editing and deleting posts and he had no problems...it's just a bit odd that he's not showing up in the list 0_o

Re: Special rights list
Allright, lets do one thing. Remove him from the group & add him once again.
