Allowed Extensions on Uploader
I work with a forum as an admin. We are a groups that makes games useing a program called blender.
Blender saves it's files as a .blend file or .blend1 file.
I was wondering if it could be possible to add this extension to the uiploader, rather than haveing to put it in a .zip.

Re: Allowed Extensions on Uploader
Hello !
First, i think that if *.blend files were to be added, Forumotion should then add too many extensions too (and why not all files ?)
Second, a suggestion with no poll is not really useful, isnt it ?
This topic might help !

y not all file, because a lot of files could be harmful.
We are a free game makeing group, in order to get our games out faster it would just be eisyer if you could post the file directly. If this is not a possibility then we can deal with useing .zip file.

Another way would be to rename .blend to .zip in order to get them accepted.
Once you download them, just rename them with correct extension.
Voted No, just because .blend format is nearly unknown and i think that if we add more extensions, some would be more expected than .blend files
