Color topics by category/folder

Hi!

Is it possible to have all topics within a certain folder (forum) or category colored a different way than others? I have folders on my forum that are only visible to select groups of members and I would like to make topics from those folders stand out in the 'recent topics' widget.

Well, you can change the colour of the subofurm/category title, but I have asked about changing the colour in the widget and was told it's not possible.

Yes, I've done that already, but I would like the topics in this category to automatically have a different color. And yes, I'd like that topic to be colored also in the widget...
