Several Glitches Empty Several Glitches

Post by Queen Julien November 14th 2010, 5:03 pm

Hi, me and my members have been experiencing some very annoying glitches these past few days. Here's the explanation two of my members have posted:
1) Even if you're the last person to post, the thread will have a 50/50 chance at saying you have not read it yet.
2) Even after 10 seconds have long since passed, the "flood control" warning may pop up.
ALSO! Lately, sometimes when I try to post a picture, it adds "border alt = 0>" or something such as that to it and makes the pictures not show up... :/
Have any other forums been experiencing these problems and can anyone help us out?

Thanks! ^_^

1. What you mean?
2. This is normal to prevent flooding
3. HTML active?

Thanks for the response. ^_^

1- Meaning if you made a post in a thread, it would say that the post in the thread is new and you haven't read it yet, even though it was your very own post, not the post of someone else.
2- It's never happened before. We have it set to the lowest, ten seconds, and it will sometimes randomly tell us to wait a few more seconds even if minutes have passed. Even if you do wait longer like it tells to, it still won't let the post through.
3- Yes. Only one member has experienced this problem so far, though.

1. This has been going on for a bit but fixes itself.
2. Just ignore it. Its only a few seconds anyways.
3. Well turn it off and se

It's not a big deal to me personally. I was just adding my 2 cents.

The thing is, though, when it tells us to wait a few seconds, it still won't let the post through no matter how many times we click send. xD
But like you said, I think this stuff will fix itself. I'll give it a few more days and see if it's still going on then.
