Domain Name Expires Daily

I have purchased an external domain name and pointed it to the forumotion DNS servers. I have purchased the custom domain name option in my forumotion admin panel, and added my domain name to the custom domain name field. Everything worked fine for the last year but things broke last week, suddenly the domain name forwarded to the forumotion search page saying my forums domain name was not found. I found the domain name had been cleared from my Forum Address, so I typed it in again, clicked save and the domain name was working again. Until the next day, when it broke again. Adding it to the Forum Address fixed it for another day, but it kept clearing itself and breaking again the next day. I eventually realized my custom domain name had expired so I re-purchased it for another year and reset my domain name hoping to solve this once and for all. Today it broke again.

it broke again today, but this time I get a new error:

Error
The supplied domain name is not well configured
Your CNAME must redirect to : XXXXXX.forumotion.com

However my DNS is still set up to forward the CNAME to that address.

Anyone have any ideas?
