homepage with forum link

hello is it possible that i can put a homepage at before my forum page comes up and for it to have a forum link on it?

sure u can all you want is create a page at
ACP >>> Modules >>> HTML Page Management >>> create new html page

at Use this page as homepage ? chose YES
and add your HTML source with your forum link , intro about your forum , info and any thing u want
