Question, switching icons of topic with topic icons?

We have a scanner icon of topic, and next to it their is the lock topic. How do I make it where if I choose the scanner icon, it replaces the locked topic, like on these forums,.....

When I click solved on topic icon it replaces the other main topic icon of that ball?

Sorry for bumping this, but really surprised I didnt get at leaset one comment.

Any help would be great.

Choose themes on hitskin that does have the version of Phpbb3.

The graphics only such as the banner, navigation bars etc.. But you can re-upload them.

ACP > Display > Skins > Choose a theme > Version

Try that, you will not loose everything. It just might replace the theme with the version default theme

Only the template editing which is not possible on phpbb3 but you can still use the topic icons, and you can still change colors via CSS on:
Admin Panel > Display > Colors > CSS stylesheet

So, I can change everything I could on phpbb2 on phpbb3? Just using the CSS?

Yep it's just the same, as I'd mentioned, the only difference is you cannot edit templates on phpbb3. And you can still change the colors.

What do you mean you can't edit templates? (sorry im confused)

Also, is their any way I could back everything up incase I dont like phhbb3, and want to go back to the old style on phhh2?

On the admin panel > display > Templates (You can't modify/edit things there)

If you went back to change version of a phpbb2 theme, images will reset and you will need to upload the images again.

CSS codes to change the colors of a specific part of a forum. However, I'm not a skilled coder of CSS

I really do like the looks on Phpbb2, but I really want to add the "Solved" on my forums.

I just want to insure I would get help making the forum how I like it using the CSS.

You say you can't edit through the panel, without using CSS.

What about images such as icons, and banners? Are they as straight forward to add as it was in Phpbb2? Like such using the website link for them to work?

You can still change/uplaod banners/other images there here:
Admin Panel > Display > Pics Management > Advanced Mode > Edit/change pictures/images there > Save changes.

Also, on Phpbb2, on my forum when I click a user's name, it goes to their profile. I like the format the way it does that, and the way it looks.

Like it has their avatar, and rank in the right, and a drop down list of all their information.

Can that be done in Phpbb3?
