I tried logging into my forum and found that the screen came up very strange. I logged out and it seemed to clear the problem.

This is what I am seeing on my home page

i am not sure whats happened or why it only appears like that when I log in.

Anyone able to help

Go to this address: https://www.forumotion.com/en/utils/editprofile.htm?sid=5732bd187ef77b86de01f5a310d31074 and login to it just as you would if you were at your site.
Do a BACK UP to a date that is at least 2 days prior to the malfunction.
DONE DEAL!

Same problem here on IE and we do not have to be logged in to view it. I am the admin in two forums, the founder of one.

unfortunately that can make a lot of members go away, they use IE and they have no idea what is happening. I do not understand, it started ever since yesterday morning and out of the blue. We changed nothing at forums, it is not from us.

I cleared the cache it does not help at all. Does the solution that you provide above ( going back on the date) erase the posts of the members? It's logical to assume it can be so but then not convenient for users that have made long post. Can you please offer a helping hand?

Hi guys. someone who can help me?

I have problems logging in to my forum. As you see in the picture below, there is no field where I can write the name and password.
When I click the login button in the right corner, nothing happens either.

This problem occurred yesterday with no change has been made in the control panel.

Tried back up! Still nothing.
This is really upsettting we have spent heaps of time with this forum.

it worked very well for me
just go to your admin area
clear your explorer history and cash
go to admin
do syncronise to the forum and to user name admin etc
try once twice or 3 time then it will work ok
you can do this from mozilla firefox and not from explorer
after go test in your explorer

was redirected to this post after i made one similar... i'd post pics of what i get, but not quite sure how to do that. i will say this, no matter what login i use, i can't get into my admin. it tells me there is no such user. i tried the asp link in a previous post, same thing. i had to create a new account on these boards ause my login didn't work here either....

any help is welcome.

I've posted an announcement on mine about this problem, so if they are using IE, i gave them links to download firefox or chrome as a backup browser.

Forummotion (The Company that lets us have this forum) has had a technical problem with a new code that was put into the software.

This means that Internet Explorer users cannot properly access our forums.

If you use Internet Explorer 7 or above you need to use a backup browser such as Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome.

Downloads for the Browsers can be found here:

I am unsure when this technical *hiccup* will end, but I will be keeping an eye on it for the next couple of days.

Welll, kids the crisis is over. For me atleast, I checked my Forum this morning 8am EST, and all is well. Made no changes, cleaned no cache or cookies. Just gave it some time. After reading some of the post, Realizing it was Forumotion and not me or my IE7. I gave them a chance to figure it out. I had a feeling it was in the one of the banner ads.

make sure you select back up in the list that is displayed. and to make sure that no posts are removed, find the last entry of the posts. If you do wipe out a few they can be redone. if the problem happens again, find out who posted last.

Thanks guys all is up and running right, but I did the back up last night and at first lost a new member. I fixed that by backing up to 12/22, and everything is fixed other than it show only 306 posts when there was 323 and to members will they have not lost there post show less than they have.
This is not a huge problem but is there away I can fix this for my forum members.
