Some of my users cannot see images is posts and smilies.
I think the problem is with Google Chrome.

They said clearing cache did not help and they don't wanna use a different browser for just one website.

Go to AdminCp>General>Categories and Forums>And klick on permissons to the forum >
See images in the messages : ALL
See links in the messages : ALL

And SAVE and its OK

I have all of that. Did it a long time ago.
It's only like three user.

You could ask the users if they have enabled smileys + HTML + BBCode in their profile
if they don't know how to do that you could do that for them.

They have all that but the images are still not showing up.

And some say they have problems with a lot of browsers and that the images are not showing up on a lot of forumotion forums.

Post a link to your forum for others to view with their browsers
it could be that the privacy settings in some browsers might affect
certain aspects of a forum not showing. or if they are using a hosts
file or spyware program

my forum is for users only.

Then ask your users to use medium settings in their browsers internet security settings

How do you set that up? I have no idea and the girls on my forum are way younger than me and definitely wouldn't have any idea at all.
And why would they need to do such a big change when tpreviously they could see everything. It obviously doesn't need that kind of change.

Its not about changing, we are just troubleshooting.

It does not require any major changes, you need to just choose english & then add the url of the forum.
