More than 1 usergroup able to ban, thats a problem.
I have 3 mod groups
Commanders=admin
Majors= global mod
lieutenants=normal mod
i want Majors to have the power to ban, not lieutenants, they should only have the power to mini mod like, deleting and editing double post...
there not moderators or anything, but they still have the power to ban, when i allow mods to ban, why is that?

Re: More than 1 usergroup able to ban, thats a problem.
You can't pick and choose what "powers" or permissions mods/admins have.
Re: More than 1 usergroup able to ban, thats a problem.
What are you talking about, the problem is one group should be Mods and be able to ban, not both.
Re: More than 1 usergroup able to ban, thats a problem.
Let me explain the groups:
You have two mod groups:
The majors can ban, and moderate the topics(Lock,move, etc)
If you place Lieutenants as mods too, they all share the same powers. You cant make Lieutenants mod and then decide to yank the ban power. You can't do that. They all share the same powers. If you place the groups as mods, they all do the same thing.
I am sorry

Wft... does this hosting site fix anything...
anyway thanks
but one more thing
how do i give a group APC access without turning into a commander (the highest rank, witch is me, ADMIN) and keep them a Major.. everytime i make turn them from User to Admin, it turns them into a commander, and when i try to take that off, it turns them into a normal user again...

The Highest Rank= Commander, Which Is me
Major=2nd highest
i want the majors to be able to go to ACP, to do this you go to Users&Groups, then search a user, then click there name, then go to permissions, and change user to admin
but after changing the permission to user to admin, it puts the major as a commander and a major, but i still want them to be a major, how do i fix that.
Re: More than 1 usergroup able to ban, thats a problem.
You would need to put them in the main admin group and then change the rank in their profile to Major. Don't put Admin.

Re: More than 1 usergroup able to ban, thats a problem.
Put them in an admin group? How?
Ex: I put Deadly in the Admin group=commander/color Black
Then i switch There Rank There name Rank To Major, But Nothing Happen. there name is still Black.

Re: More than 1 usergroup able to ban, thats a problem.
The rank doesn't switch their color. You will need to put them in the group that is Major. Groups make usernames color.
So if you want him to have admin panel access you must put him in the admin group (group 1).
