Calendar Feed - Can it be done? Empty Calendar Feed - Can it be done?

Post by cougar30 February 2nd 2011, 3:00 pm

Hi all,

I am trying to add something like a twitter feed, but its a Calendar type feed to the following;

This is the location of my Calendar (http://pub30.bravenet.com/calendar/show.php?usernum=2502601924)and I would like to add a feed to the following section of my Forum which is here;

http://nineelms.freeforum.me.uk/portal?pid=1

I don't want to see the Calendar in the header - I just want a feed to this relevant section.

I hope someone can point me in the right direction as to what HTML code I need to add etc...

Many Thanks

Andy

Hi, your title not being specific and therefore not facilitating research via the search option, I'm not answering (nor is any other member ) until you change your title to a more specific one, related to your problem

Why do we ask you to use explicit titles
Code:
The forum's search engine bases its research on keywords found in [b]topic titles[/b].

When you do a research, do you use "help", "urgent", "problem", "SOS" or "question" as keywords to look for topics about your problem/question?

Certainly not!  So this is why it is important to use titles [b]related to your problem/question[/b].  Doing this makes the researches much easier for visitors who use the search engine to get an answer to their question.

Thanks for your understanding.

Cordially

Have you had a look at the Calendar link and my forum link to see if it will work in the same way as the twitter feed that if something is added it will post?

Is it easy to setup RSS Feed for my Calendar? I have had a look at www.Podbean.com as it seems you could possibly add some code into you're forum to make this work?

Many Thanks

Hi all,

Can someone possibly give me some idea of how to get a Calendar like this? RMWeb Currently my Calendar works via an external link with this Code (Widget)

<!-- Start Bravenet.Com Service Code --><div style="line-height: 13px;color:black;padding:10px;">
<a href="http://pub30.bravenet.com/calendar/show.php?usernum=2502601924" style="float: left; margin-right: 10px;color:black"><img src="http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/f0/Steam_engine_in_action.gif" width="120" height="90" alt="Free Website Calendars by Bravenet.com" border="0"></a>
<a href="http://pub30.bravenet.com/calendar/show.php?usernum=2502601924" style="font-size: 12px; font-weight: bold; color:black">Steam News Calendar</a><br>
<a href="http://www.bravenet.com/webtools/calendar/" style="font-size: 10px; color:black;"></a>
<br style="clear: left;">
</div>
<!-- End Bravenet.Com Service Code -->
<input type="button" value="Close Window" onclick="self.close()">

This is my Forum address. http://nineelms.freeforum.me.uk/forum

Many Thanks.
