change logo

Complete and utter novice, beginner, so have fun wi me...

First off, how do I change the main logo at the top of the page?

No techie geek language, just plain idiot proof and VERY simple instructions please....

OK, this message popped up after I posted, so followed instructions:
administration panel => display => pictures and emails => pics managment => advanced mode => Forum main logo =>

Chose a photo...

Clicked the "submit" button, and nothing happens...

???

First, upload the banner then put the pic url on the field of the banner/logo part there and save.

Aye, but as I said, I did't know it was there till I posted...

Anyway, dunno wot this means: "upload the banner then put the pic url on the field of the banner/logo"

Wot is the banner, It's a picture I'm trying to upload, but as I said, slick the "submit" button and nothing happens... "pic url" wot's that ??

Told ye, complete novice....

The banner, to which Joph refers, is the pic (logo banner) which will be in your header. The URL of your pic is pasted into the window (just above where it says Upload a picture) of the Forum main logo in Pic's Management or use the Upload a picture feature. Click Save.

The pic's URL is what you get when you right click on to whatever pic you are going to use as a logo or banner, then left click on Copy image URL. It is this URL you can paste into the window of the Forum main logo to get your logo.

As i've said, "upload picture" click submit, nothing happens... ???

OK, yer first part, doesn't work...

Second part, I don't have internet addresses for my pictures, their on my iMac... Doesn't that sound like a complete novice?

Idiot proof easy to follow and concise instructions with links and no brain destroying spend all day searching the internet or this forum trying to understand what yer on about...

Then use the Upload a picture feature. Hopefully that would work even in an iMac.

Gawd..As I've said, I try that, click "submit" button, and NOTHING happens....
