Re: Setting up RSS Code
Can this be done by using www.Podbean.com as I tried it and tried to insert the code it fills out for you. But no icon appears (Has an X) Is there a problem with the code? I tried to Validate it, but to no avail.
Any help would be really appreciated.
Many Thanks

Re: Setting up RSS Code
I didn't really understand it Sanket, hence found that you can put an RSS icon and set it up using Podbean. Here is my site address if it helps?

Re: Setting up RSS Code
Here is the link to set up a feed. http://www.podbean.com/podcast-directory-add-feed - It then prompts You have to go to Feed Validator.org first to validate it.
It then comes up with an error saying the following:
•line 94, column 1: Missing atom:link with rel="self" [help]
</channel>
it then says this and then gives me some HTML code afterwards to put in:
If you would like to create a banner that links to this page (i.e. this validation result), do the following:
1.Download the "valid RSS" banner.
2.Upload the image to your own server. (This step is important. Please do not link directly to the image on this server.)
3.Add this HTML to your page (change the image src attribute if necessary):
The code says the following:
<a href="http://feedvalidator.org/check.cgi?url=http%3A//nineelms.freeforum.me.uk/feed/%3Ff%3D9"><img src="valid-rss-rogers.png" alt="[Valid RSS]" title="Validate my RSS feed" /></a>
I have tried putting the code in and although it produces and RSS box at the top - It asks me to Validate it with an 'X' showing (No RSS logo)
Any ideas?
Many thanks.
