Thread Access Depending on Post Count
Is there a way to make certain parts of the forum be accessed depending on how many post count a user has?
Example:
I made a forum w/ a "Download Thread". I only want people to view & access that part of the forum if they accumulated over 500 post counts.

Hello Wslasher,
Yes, this is possible by creating a restricted forum for members that have more than 500 posts. To do that, you will need to create a restricted forum and post said topic in that forum. Here is an article on restricted forums, written by me: https://help.forumotion.com/t38399-restricted-forums

But if I set it as group recruitment, I'll have to manually approve everyone who'll be wanting to join that group.
Is there no other way? Like in the rank system, it is auto assigned depending on how many post count a user has.
I once saw in a official vBulletin forum that they have post count quota to access certain parts of the forum & you didn't have to wait for admin/mod approval.

Re: Thread Access Depending on Post Count
yeah you just create the group, select auto subscribe then add the amount of post need to for a member to join the group.
But you have to make sure your groups permissions are set for the forums you want them to have access to, it will have to be forums, you want be able to do set permissions for individual threads.
