Password protected forum?

Hey, people. I wanted to ask can i made a pass protected forum? I mean only one forum in one category to be pass protected and the other forums in my site not to be?

I am using PhpBB2

An alternative would be to create a group with the members you want to grant access and the make it so only they can see it
