Looking for 3 forumotion forums to be featured.
If interested do not post any content for article write ups about your forum here.
All forums content/articles must be submitted to me in my PM here on Forumotion Support.All content will then be reviewed and you will be messaged back if your forum was approved to be featured.
I am only taking 4 forums for the first issue and already have 1.
So 3 more are available to be featured and promoted if interested?
Deadline is April 10 , once we have the three forums that we will be featured for may issue.
I will then post where others can send your information/articles, for the possibility to have your forum featured in June or another upcoming month.. I will most likely bump up the number of featured sites for issues from June and on.
Requirements.
You must submit a write up article explaining all aspects of your forum and what your form is about. Send any images such as logos, banners,possible backgrounds to be used, or any other images,videos or materials that will go with your featured forums Full page in the May issue of Forum Successors.
With having your forum featured in a months issue,the pages will be created to go along with your forums theme and purpose as close to your forum as possible.Like other articles pages in Forum Successors magazine,Your featured Forum page will have facebook options.So instead of having just one facebook option to be shared with various articles that would be on a normal page. All facebook options on your featured page will be for your page only and not shared with other articles or content.
Meaning others can leave comments and be able to share directly with their friends and be posted on yours or your friends Facebook wall and or profile to see.
Also like regular articles pages, you will be provided with a blog on the Forum Successors Forum.This allow others to have a place to comment that may not be a member of your forum or Facebook friend.
Two short Q & A
Q: What should i write up to have my forum featured?
A: If your are one interested in having your forum featured you should just write as much as you can explaining your forum.Things like. What your forum is about,Different categories and sections your forum has,When the forum was founded and who created it or any new announcements features or updates you have previously or currently added.
These are a few examples,Basically just explain as much as you can in as much details as possible.
Q What if all i explain and write up about my forum is not enough content to fill a whole page to be featured?
A: If you feel you do not have enough content to fill a whole page, you can always ask your Staff and members to get involved. Place an announcement on your forum that you are looking for some articles from your members to do a write up on your forum and better help promote your site to be published in May 1 issue of Forum Successors.Be sure to tell them they will get credit for their article and will also be provided with their own blog section in addition to the options-your page will have for others to comment.
Once again the deadline is April 10 to submit any content of your forum to be featured upon approval.I will then go over all persons content and evaluate it with Forum Successors staff and choose the three we will be going with,Once the three are chosen you will be contacted to discuss options for your page layout,appearances and theme. We will try to keep it as close to your forums theme as we can.
If anyone has any other questions? Please feel free to ask here in this thread.

- Ok well i am sitting here going over a few sections, and just realized i have no clue what i am going to do for a fashion section? i don't know nothing about fashion, My idea of fashion is sitting back with a 6 pack of beer watching the Victoria Secret Models strut their selfs down the runway for their annual TV Special. (when is that by the way) lol
I'll put something together not sure what.
But yeah i would like to have some stuff for all of our lady friends, so if anyone is interested in running or helping out with some materials to place in Fashion more for ladies section please do pm me.. Looks like i will just feature some sports illustrated models for now.. 2011 summer bikini frenzy,,, haha yea that sounds good... lol
So like i said if any ladies are interested in helping out with some fashion and other types of materials that would be in a Girls teen magazine womens magazine let me know.
And and as long as someone is willing and dedicated i will give a whole section, and yous can basically add and run what yous want, of course promote your sites as well,
And heck if their are any guy's that know fashion it don't matter to me, Because thats going to be a hard section for me to do without knowing squat about it... lol
Good news though think i have someone for the arts and literature sections

- I am looking for a couple staff to help out on Forum Successor Online magazine of Forumotion.
Requirements
Has some extra time.
Has to be reliable and follow through with any particular project.
Has the ability and knowledge on using Imaging software for basic graphic designs.
Is creative and willing to share new and exciting ideas
And someone that is not going to come in wast our time, and jerk us around... lol (for real)
In a nut shell i need one or two people that can help with some imaging, using basically what ever software you are good with to use for general and basic graphics,
Such as resizing images,gathering images,adjusting colors,sharpness and able to add text on or over images.
Banner making and may be some gif animation, but it's not a must.
However,the more skills you have the better
So if anyone is interested please reply here,You would be staff over at the Forum Successors Magazine Forum,Now it dose not pay anything and would be on a volunteer basis the same way i am a volunteer here.If i could pay you or get paid my self you darn well know i would but you have to start somewhere.
Of course things would be on your own time and there will be no pressure.
But i only ask if you are going to work on something please follow through.
This is a lot of work for me putting this whole thing together so i realy need someone that would be responsible dedicated and excited to be part of Forum Successors.
So here is a small example of just one thing i can use help with.
This is a mock up image that would be in the movie sections of the magazine.
So for this i have just re-sized the poster to what i wanted.
then made a new blank image for the desired dimensions.
Added a new background to it,
then just added the poster and text.
So you dont have to be a graphics expert, but you do have to know how to do simple things like this because i do not have time to teach or train anyone.
And that is just one image out of about 30 or so that are going in image rotators.
And there are a lot of things like this i would need help with as well as information, article gathering and constant ideas for new up coming issues and sections.

would you like to take a crack at it for around eight images i have left for this particular project.
All you would have to do is add the text i already did the rest of the work
i can send you the images and text that will go on them if you like.

i have to find what i did with all the text.. but should have them to you soon
And you dont have to go crazy with them, you can switch up the text or coloring font color if you like, just be sure it is legible/readable

Base they look awesome man!!!!! nice work.
I know it wasn't the most hardest thing, but you nailed it man thanx so much.
be sure to check you pm.. and thanx again, by you doing that it saved me the time of doing it and i was able to get almost two more pages done!!!

We are looking for someone to help us run the forum, who will be dedicated to helping us making forum the best of its kind. We are very serious about making forum successors a success and want someone who is reliable and committed. Good communication skills are essential as we will be discussing various things on a regular basis. Your duties will include helping to keep the forum active, helping to gain new members, helping to moderate the forums and various other duties plus what kirk said above.
As long as you are committed and willing to help as much as you can, that is all that matters. Previous experience as a Moderator is not essential. Please note that Forum Successors is run on a voluntary basis, so this is not a paid position. (Note what kirk said above)
So, if you have the time and are interested in helping us as a Staff Member, please let us know.

So i mean i cant do everything, if members want to promote their sites they are going to have to have to at least do a write up about the forum they want to promote.i am not just going to publish links leading to a site without any info on what it's about.
