Option to enable Blog-view Topics with regular Forum-view Index?

Hello

Further to Topic posted by SPADEZ on "Manage the appearance of your forum" section of this support site...... I'm quoting part of it here, and would like to ask that the following can please be considered.

....... I would like to create some forums to have blog looking post but I want to be able to browse through the topics as a regular looking forum .............browsing through topics in a forum view looks more cleaner and less cluttered. Also viewing individual topics that have blog looking replies looks clean as well......

And back to me.....
After experimenting with conversion of a couple of Forums to Blogs at my site:
I like the appearance of the Topic threads in a Blog which are much neater, but the Board/Blog Index itself is cluttered looking and a lot of scrolling needed for browsing through it. I agree with Spadez that it would be great to have the option of usual Forum Index view (and where last poster's name is shown & alert for new posts, etc) but with the Topics/posts to display in the nice new Blog format.

If anyone else thinks this would be a good option, please will you tick Yes on my poll?
