Solved Replacing Topics

Post by Riko Suzumei March 16th 2011, 15:46

Alright, last night an Admin on my site wiped out all the topics there. I need to know how I can replace them, if that's possible at all. A step by step explanation would be appreciated.

I'm also not the founder account, the founder left in October and hasn't returned.

If someone could give me the original password to the board I could fix this myself, is that a possible thing?

unfortunately once a topic has been deleted, it's gone . Some things can be retrieved via your utilities back-up, however, post,topics cannot.

Alright, I'm wondering, can the back up can replace the things that were lost?

Yes that depends on the backup point created on the utilities site. It could bring back posts upto that point of time.

Alright, thanks.

Also is there a way to get the founder password? We haven't heard from Twinkie since last may, and she randomly showed up in October, but then never returned. I need the password for the site to access the back-up, so I want to know if its possible. Lol.

sorry for all the questions. ^^;

Well if there is another admin on the forum & the founder has not visited the forum for more than 6 months, then the current admin can retrieve the founder password by PM'ing Typlo with the details.
