Solved Question about forum back up and deleted posts

Okay, the search engine here wouldn't give me any results but I know I've seen threads I'm interested in on here so...
Anyway, what exactly do I have to do to retrive deleted posts. I think it had something to do with the forum back up or something.
If I do that will all the posts done after the deleting be gone?

If you restore your forum, you will lose any data that has been done after the recent back up date.
