Blocking a web address from being sent/posted
Wondering if there is a way to block a web address from being posted in my forum. I may have another website that is trying to take my traffic and I just wanted to see if there is a way that I can block there address from being posted/sent through my forum to my members. Simular to the word blocking function the forums have. Or is there anyway I can search the whole forum to see if the link was posted or messaged to my members.
Hope I put this in the right section.

I already tried that but it seems that the word blocker does not work though the pm system as well. Is that true?

Yes, it is true. You should tell your members to report any messages that are advertising a website through PM.

thanks MrMario and Base
I may have to disable the pm system if this keeps up. hopefully someday they can have it so it does pms also and maybe even a link remover in with the censor.

I would also advise you to set a post count requirement in order to send a PM, much like this forum which has a post count requirement of 2. Basically, this will stop any new members who have deliberately registered to advertise. To do that, please go to:
1. Administration Panel (advanced mode)
2. General Tab
3. Private Messages (on the left, under Messages and e-mails)
4. Add a number to your liking in the field "Minimum posts before sending private messages"

Is this solved, by the way?

Base
