Having the forum be directly on my URL

For example

when some one types

example.com

is there a way i can have just the forum at example.com rather then as a sub-domain?

I know another forum site did. but i like this ones features way more.

If you already own a domain name you can configure it for your forum. You will be able to use a sub-domain like forum.example.com if you want, but you can also configure the www subdomain or the whole domain.
Information on how to configure a personnalized domaine name are in the admin panel. General tab > forum address > Personalized domain name
