Should the member Invisibility be left to the Admin' s discretion ?
Member Invisibility
Short and simply put, in some of the forums I had the opportunity to moderate, a member invisibility was left only for the administration team as that was necessary at some point in time.
I propose that the option of the Member invisibility is left to the Admin as a toggle.

Re: Member Invisibility
i voted for NO cause i want to see what users are online
a lot of spam is usually on the private messages when they are advertising their sites and so on, and i can't know if they are making something bad, if they are invisible

Re: Member Invisibility
I assumed you knew that Mods and Admins could see them but not the other members.
As it is now, members can toggle it and Admins cannot stop them, I was suggesting that Admins have control over what members can toggle.

Re: Member Invisibility
yeah i know that mods and admins can see them, but i still don't want this option
is better to see them
i'm curious why you need this option
if you really want it, then maybe you'll have it

Re: Member Invisibility
Yes, my point exactly, Ella.
Right now they can toggle themselves invisible and visible, I don't like that either. That's why we need the admin's to take out that option for the members.
Is that clear now ?

Re: Member Invisibility
I am not angry, not at all. A little frustrated but not angry. I appreciate you being nice, and I apologise if you have taken that another way.
Be good.

Re: Member Invisibility
That's okay, Ella. Being 13 and from another country, we tend to misinterpret eachother. No harm done.
Cheers,
