Solved Portal to be stand alone

Post by forexalliance April 15th 2011, 3:08 am

I do not want any of my forum pages to display widgets except for the portal. Is this possible?

Thing is, when I add a widget to the portal page, it also appears on the rest of ALL of the forum pages. I would like the portal to be an introduction. The way it is now, everything on the portal is also on the forum pages.

It doesn't work like that. You must be adding widgets on the widget management instead of the portal or the other way around.

It is possible to remove widgets from everywhere else except for the portal by going to:

1. Administration Panel (advanced mode)
2. Modules Tab
3. Forum widgets management (on the left, under Portal & Widgets)
4. Select "Display forum widgets : No

Hi base,
This is where I am adding the widgets....
ACP>MODULES>PORTALS AND WIDGETS>FORUM WIDGETS MANAGEMENT
Is this wrong?
